For more than 25 years, the Leavenworth Education Foundation (LEF) has been dedicated to empowering education and elevating students for success across USD 453. What began as a small community effort has grown into a vital partnership supporting innovative classroom projects, student enrichment programs, and teacher recognition throughout Leavenworth schools.
Each year, our annual campaign raises more than $160,000, directly benefiting students and teachers in every school and grade level. From literacy and STEAM initiatives to academic celebrations, LEF helps fill the gaps where traditional funding cannot reach.
As an affiliate of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Affiliated Trusts, we operate with transparency and accountability to ensure every dollar strengthens education in our community.
