Meet Me at the 50

The Leavenworth Education Foundation was happy to fund the busing and t-shirts given to kindergarten students in the annual Meet Me at the 50 event through a $2,500 grant funded by the donations received from our generous community members, businesses, and alumni.

The Meet Me at the 50 event was held Friday, October 9, 2026 at Pioneer Stadium. The event brought together kindergarteners from Lawson Elementary School (class of 2039) and the seniors from Leavenworth High School (class of 2027) at the 50-yard line on the football field. Holding signs of encouragement, the seniors fitted the young students with t-shirts that read, "From Kindergarten to Graduation Pioneer Class of 2039."
